Science and Censorship

The Gallup polling organization recently asked the US population what they thought about origins. Almost half (44%) believe that God created humans in the last 10,000 years. Thirty nine percent believe that evolution was helped by God (theistic evolution) and only 10% believe in Atheistic evolution. In addition, sixty eight percent favor teaching creation along with evolution in public schools. When scientists are polled the results are startlingly different. Only 5% believe in the creation view, 40% in theistic evolution and 55% in atheistic evolution. Use this link to read more about this poll.

The evolutionary scientific establishment has been able to suppress any teaching of creation or even the evidence against evolution in any public school. They even try to promote the idea that there in NO evidence against evolution. Both Gould (Harvard) and Eugenie Scott have clearly stated that there is no evidence against evolution. This is a bold faced lie and they know it. Gould has argued in many places that classical Darwinian doesn't work and only his mechanism (punctuated equilibrium) is effective. Here is a link to a recently published book that defines some of this evidence against evolution.

The most distressing part of this problem is the complicity of the US press. The reporting of the "Kansas decision" is a clear example of how they lack both depth and investigative desire. (See the Kansas statements elsewhere on this site). The press has lost sight of their mission to investigate and report no matter where the cards fall. The advent of the Internet, however, has greatly eroded their power to control the though processes of the American people. The very fact that you are reading this on this site demonstrates the information revolution.
