Dinosaur Extinction
Why are the dinosaurs extinct? is
one of the most asked questions on this web site. People who don’t believe
in the Bible’s record of history seem to think that dinosaurs prove the
Bible isn’t true. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Bible
mentions them several times and we can even guess why they are no longer
with us from the Biblical record. There is much debate today among secular
scientists about why the dinosaurs became extinct the; “meteorite theory”,
“famine theory”, “indigestion theory”, etc, etc. Which one best fits the
findings of science? Before I answer, here is the Creationist theory. The
dinosaurs lived on the Earth with man before the Flood in a world that had
vast amounts of plants, which all the animals ate. There was no need or
reason why they would kill each other for food since there were prolific
amounts of vegetables, fruits and nuts for food. All except two and in some
cases seven of each kind of animal were drowned in Noah’s flood and became
the massive fossil record. After the flood, the plants were mostly gone
(they became the fossil fuels - coal and oil) so the animals had to kill
others to survive. These slow cold-blooded lizards were some to the first to
go extinct by being eaten by other creatures. The new environment of the
post flood world was also much harsher in temperature variations and weather
conditions. How do we find evidence of dinosaurs, by FOSSILS. Most of
these fossils show watery death like the flood, just like you’d expect if
they were drowned in the flood.
